David Quessenberry (pronounced KWESS-en-berry), who was slated to become an unrestricted free agent at the start of the 2024 League Year, re-signs with the Minnesota Vikings. In his first season in Minnesota in 2023, Quessenberry appeared in 16 games, including four starts. He made his first start as a Viking at Atlanta in Week 9 (11/5) at left tackle and started three games over the final four weeks of the season at right tackle. A native of Encinitas, Calif., Quessenberry was originally selected by the Houston Texans in the sixth round (176th overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft. He spent his rookie season on injured reserve and the following three seasons on the non-football injury list after being diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in June of 2014. Quessenberry returned to the Texans practice squad in 2017 and made his NFL debut in Week 16. He spent the 2018-21 seasons with the Tennessee Titans and was with the Buffalo Bills in 2022.
