Biography

Jerry Tillery was selected by the Los Angeles Chargers in the first round (28th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft and spent time with both the Chargers (2019-22) and Las Vegas Raiders (2022-23) before joining the Vikings. During his first five seasons in the league, Tillery has appeared in 79 games with 39 starts, recording 147 total tackles, including 14 for loss, 12.5 sacks, two passes defensed, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He played in all 17 of the Raiders matchups in 2023, making six starts, and tallied 31 total tackles, including two for loss, 2.0 sacks and a fumble recovery. A native of Shreveport, La., Tillery played his collegiate career at Notre Dame (2015-18) and appeared in 50 games, registering 135 tackles, including 24.5 for loss, 13.5 sacks, four forced fumbles and two blocked kicks.
